We've got a TV reunion in the AFC title game in KC, and BYU LB Fred Warner's 49ers travel to chilly Philly to battle Utah/Timpview product Britain Covey's Eagles

First off: We've got a Friday Night Tykes reunion in the AFC title game in KC.

Brandon Wilson, Cincinnati Bengals S was once a tubby little running back stuck behind speedster TaDion Lott on the San Antonio Colts! Remember their assistant coach? How could you not? Clayton Guillory was the helicopter dad who yelled at his son Esteban like a drill sergeant at practices, and himself had played a little in the pros and college at D2 Angelo State. He moved Esteban from one youth league team to the next—and did it in high school, too and also moved other players! Here HE is teaching a kid how to perfect his three-point stance:

Do you hold your breath when you take a s—! If you don’t hold your breath when you take a s—, why are you holding your breath right now!

Don’t hold your breath for a Bengals return to the Super Bowl here and you may not want to take a s—- because you might miss something—like when Chiefs WR Juju Smith-Schuster scores a touchdown. If you remember Friday Night Tykes at all, it was Smith-Schuster and his SA Outlaws team who always wrecked the SA Colts’ hopes and dreams [until the Colts coach defected over to the Outlaws after a third straight championship game L]. I think Pat Mahomes is still out for revenge after suffering that shock upset to Cincy last year. That, and that Cincy O-line is more banged up than a MASH unit.

Now for the big game. The NFC Championship Game between the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles.

We’ve got BYU LB Fred Warner and his San Francisco 49ers coming off of a ho-hum 19-12 head-scratcher of a victory against Dallas in the NFC Divisional Playoff Round. The Niners defense is No. 1 in the league for a reason, and Warner has been a big part, as I lined out in my weekend story, last week:

Fred Warning: BYU LB Fred Warner Was A Pain In Dak Prescott's Behind

Meanwhile, Utah product Brit Covey did not see the field last week in Philadelphia’s 38-7 win over the New York Giants—but he wasn’t needed in the slightest. I suspect that you will see Covey in this game. Because the Eagles will have to flip the field on SF to have any sort of shot at piercing that 49ers defense, Brit may be utilized on punt and kick returns.

Also: will Britain Covey see any game action Sunday—aside from some game-week bowling?

I like the Chiefs and Andy Reid [BYU alum] to take on Britain Covey’s Philadelphia Eagles in Phoenix for the Super Bowl.
